Puertollano football documentary to premiere September 3

The documentary ‘Puertollano, una historia de fútbol’ is scheduled to premiere on September 3 at the Pedro Almodóvar Auditorium in Puertollano. Produced by Teverás Televisión in collaboration with the Puertollano City Council, the 50-minute film explores the city's football history and highlights Calvo Sotelo Puertollano’s recent promotion to Segunda RFEF. The production features unprecedented footage, interviews with historical and current players, and special collaboration from Santiago Cañizares.

The premiere event will also serve as the official presentation for five club teams: the first team, the women's team, the reserve team, the Juvenil Nacional, and the Juvenil Territorial. This screening will be the only opportunity to view the documentary during 2026, as it will not be released on social media until early next year.

In preparation for the upcoming league season, Calvo Sotelo Puertollano is finalizing its squad and preseason training. The club currently has nearly 1,400 members and is looking to establish itself in the Segunda RFEF following a period of preseason matches and friendly games.
