Puglia Green Hydrogen Valley project discussed in Brindisi workshop
A workshop held at the Confindustria Brindisi headquarters focused on the applications of hydrogen for industrial decarbonization and the development of sustainable mobility. The event highlighted the technical feasibility and economic sustainability of using hydrogen and e-fuels to reduce emissions in industrial processes and transport.
A central topic of discussion was the Puglia Green Hydrogen Valley project. Developed by Edison in partnership with Sosteneo Infrastructure Partners, Saipem, and Generali Investments, the initiative aims to establish two green hydrogen production hubs in Brindisi and Taranto. The project targets an installed electrolysis capacity of 160MW, with an expected annual production of approximately 250 million cubic meters of green hydrogen.
