Puglia labor demand rises with construction and tourism leading

The latest WorkUP report from Arpal Puglia indicates a significant shift in the regional labor market as the summer season concludes. Total personnel requests in the provinces of Bari, BAT, and Foggia rose from 242 units on August 28 to 492 units by September 10.

The construction, systems, and real estate sector saw the most substantial growth, increasing from 24 to 115 positions. This sector has now become the primary driver for job vacancies in the territory. Additionally, demand in tourism, culture, and catering services doubled to 76 positions, while the agricultural sector quadrupled to 50 positions due to the onset of the grape and fruit harvest.

Other notable employment opportunities include a public competition for 882 technical specialists within the Department of Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and the Asmel 2026 notice for local government recruitment.
