Puglia labor market sees surge in construction and agricultural job openings

The latest WorkUP report indicates a shift in the labor market in the provinces of Bari, BAT, and Foggia as the summer season concludes. Total job vacancies increased from 242 on August 28 to 492 by September 10.

The construction, systems, and real estate sector saw the most significant growth, rising from 24 to 115 positions. Other notable increases include tourism, culture, and catering services, which doubled to 76 positions, and the agricultural sector, which quadrupled to 50 positions due to the grape harvest and fruit picking.

The report also highlights regional strategies for talent attraction in Puglia and mentions several public recruitment opportunities, including a large-scale selection for 882 technical specialists for the Department of Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
