In Molfetta, the municipal order to close the roundabout on via Salvucci has led the local public‑transport operator STP to alter several bus lines. Effective immediately, line 167 and other services will use a detour that turns left at the former roundabout, continues along via Ugo La Malfa and via Poggio Reale, and temporarily suspends the Corso Fornari – Apicella and Corso Fornari – Villetta stops. The changes remain in place until the road works are completed.

Meanwhile, on the Bari‑Putignano railway line, regional President Antonio Decaro and Infrastructure Minister Raffaele Piemontese inspected the new stations at Triggiano and Capurso. After an April closure for track‑doubling, electrification and the burial of the Triggiano‑Capurso section, train service will resume on 27 July. The upgrade eliminated nine level crossings, added a cycling‑pedestrian path on the former track bed, and will eventually allow the new stations to open by autumn 2026. Eight train pairs will run on weekdays and six on weekends, supplemented by bus replacements until the stations become operational.
