Puglia psychologists launch training project on violence against women

The Order of Psychologists of Puglia has launched an integrated training project titled ‘Male Violence Against Women: Recognize, Listen, Communicate, Act’. The initiative focuses on the psychological aspects of violence and its consequences for women and minors, specifically addressing clinical trauma and risk assessment tools.

Supported by the Presidency of the Regional Council of Puglia and a network of anti-violence centers, the program includes 24 hours of theoretical lessons and laboratory activities. The project aims to foster a coordinated territorial response by integrating the expertise of psychologists, social workers, and healthcare professionals. The training is being replicated across the six provinces of Puglia, with over 500 participants enrolled to date.
