Puglia Region allocates 8 million euros for social infrastructure
The Puglia Region has allocated an additional 8.23 million euros to bolster social and socio-assistential infrastructure. This new funding is part of the “Inte. R. SS. eca” public notice under the PR Puglia FESR-FSE+ 2021-2027 framework.
This increase brings the total allocation for the program to nearly 50 million euros, up from the original 40 million euros planned for 2023-2025. The resources are intended to support public administrations, specifically municipalities and public social service companies (ASP), in the restructuring, requalification, and creation of facilities such as residential centers, elderly and disability hubs, and social housing.
The funding aims to address high demand, following 75 applications already submitted by local entities. The additional budget will allow the evaluation commission to continue processing existing candidacies and expand the capacity to respond to the needs of local territories.
