Puglia Regional Council approves 2025 consolidated budget

The Puglia Regional Council has approved the consolidated budget and general report for the 2025 financial year. The approval passed with 30 votes in favor and 8 against.

Financial data indicates approximately 16 billion euros in assessed revenue and 15.8 billion euros in committed expenditures, resulting in a positive management balance exceeding 715 million euros. While the administration result stands at approximately 4.3 billion euros, much of this includes resources earmarked for specific purposes. Notably, 1.67 billion euros has been set aside, including 1.286 billion euros for the Doubtful Accounts Fund.

Of the 16 billion euros in assessed revenue, approximately 11 billion euros have been collected. Cash reserves saw a significant decrease, ending the period at roughly 95 million euros compared to 952 million euros at the start of 2025.
