Puig reports record third-quarter sales amid growth in makeup and fragrances
Puig, the Barcelona-based beauty and fashion group, reported record third-quarter sales of €1.39 billion, representing a 7.2% increase on a reported basis and 5.6% on a like-for-like basis. For the first nine months of 2026, cumulative sales reached €3.74 billion, a 4.1% increase compared to the previous year.
Growth was driven primarily by the makeup segment, which saw a 12% like-for-like increase, and the fragrance and fashion division, which grew 3.8% like-for-like. The Asia-Pacific region was a standout performer with 17.9% like-for-like growth. While the skincare division experienced some cooling, particularly in the North American market, the company maintained growth across all categories and regions globally.
CEO José Manuel Albesa attributed the performance to the strength of the company’s innovations and distinctive portfolio. Puig reiterated its full-year 2026 outlook, expecting to outperform the premium beauty market while maintaining stable adjusted EBITDA margins. The company is scheduled to outline its future growth priorities during a Capital Markets Day in Madrid on October 28.
