Puka Nacua balances NFL accolades with off-field scrutiny

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is navigating a complex offseason involving both professional accolades and off-field scrutiny. Nacua was recently ranked seventh on the NFL’s Top 100 Players list for the 2026 season, a significant jump from his previous ranking.

However, Nacua faces potential disciplinary action under the NFL’s personal conduct policy following several controversial incidents. These include allegations of antisemitic remarks and gestures, as well as an incident involving biting a woman. In response to these challenges, Nacua has reportedly sought support through rehabilitation and has been seen engaging with the Jewish community in Los Angeles, including attending a Bat Mitzvah.

The Rams organization has acknowledged Nacua’s elite on-field performance while maintaining a focus on his off-field behavior as he enters the final year of his contract.
