Puka Nacua faces new scrutiny following facial injury at celebrity party

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has faced a series of personal and legal controversies over the past year. Most recently, Nacua disclosed that he sustained a bloody facial injury while attending Michael Rubin’s White Party in July. During an appearance on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Nacua explained that he ran into a clean glass panel while attempting to locate teammate Davante Adams to watch a Snoop Dogg performance.

This incident follows a string of other issues for the athlete. Earlier in the year, a woman filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles alleging gender violence, assault, battery, and negligence. The lawsuit included claims of an unprovoked antisemitic statement and physical biting, though Nacua’s attorney has denied these allegations in the strongest possible terms. Nacua has also faced scrutiny for inappropriate gestures made during a December livestream.
