Pukka Herbs launches new functional wellness tea blends

Pukka Herbs is expanding its wellness beverage portfolio with the launch of two new functional tea blends: ‘Gut Health’ and ‘Unwind’. The ‘Gut Health’ blend utilizes ginger, peppermint, and naturally fermented kombucha, while the ‘Unwind’ blend features chamomile, blueberry, ashwagandha, and lion’s mane.

The launch responds to consumer trends where 70% of shoppers aim to lead healthier lifestyles and 50% of UK soft drink consumers prefer beverages with health benefits over traditional supplements. Products targeting digestion and relaxation currently account for 34.5% of functional fruit and herbal tea sales.

Both products are organic and Fair for Life certified, featuring home-compostable tea bags and recyclable packaging. The new blends will debut at Waitrose on August 26, followed by a rollout to other major UK retailers including Sainsbury’s and Holland & Barrett. Each pack will retail for £4.99.
