Pula completes affordable housing project in former naval hospital

An affordable housing project in Pula, Istria, has been completed. The initiative, titled ‘Under One Roof in Istria’, repurposed a former naval hospital building into 22 modern, energy-efficient residential units. The project, valued at nearly four million euros, provides accommodation for 64 people and was largely funded by 3.35 million euros from the EU Just Transition Fund.

Following the completion of the reconstruction, the next steps involve public consultation to define the criteria for apartment allocation, followed by a public call for residents.
