Pula hosts Visualia light festival as Varese unveils new chapel lighting
The twelfth edition of the Visualia light festival has opened in Pula, Croatia. Centered on the theme of space, the festival features 23 works distributed across 16 locations in the city center. Notable installations include four-meter-tall astronauts on via dei Sergi and various light projections at the Roman Forum, the Civic Gallery, and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In Italy, a new lighting system has been inaugurated at the Tenth Chapel of the Sacro Monte di Varese. Part of the ‘Diamo nuova luce alle Cappelle del Sacro Monte’ project, this initiative aims to enhance the visibility of historical frescoes and artistic heritage. The project was supported by the Varese Alpini Section and is part of a gradual effort to illuminate the entire baroque monumental path.
