Pula Municipality Awards €58,161 in Grants to Local Entrepreneurs
The mayor of Pula approved the first round of non‑repayable grants under the 2026 "POTPORE PULA‑POLA" public call for entrepreneurship development. The funding committee examined 34 applications totaling €95,939.94 and approved 22 requests, allocating €58,161.10 in grants.
Grants were distributed across several measures: new‑company start‑ups received €16,594.40, digitalisation and digital marketing projects €5,488.75, co‑financing of long‑term material assets €29,508.85, specialised training €650, and handcrafted‑product development €5,919.10. Some applications were partially reduced or rejected for not meeting eligibility criteria, and two applicants withdrew their requests. The overall programme budget for 2026 is €300,000.
The awarded funds aim to support business creation, digital transformation, equipment acquisition, skill development, and niche product manufacturing in the Pula‑Pola area.
