Pullman Tokyo Tamachi launches sustainable high tea event

Pullman Tokyo Tamachi has announced a limited-time “Sustainable High Tea” event to commemorate its eighth anniversary, running from September 1 to October 31, 2026. The initiative focuses on the theme of “circulating value for the future” by utilizing ingredients that are often discarded, such as non-standard vegetables and citrus peels.

The menu features eight types of savory items, including a spring roll made with non-standard vegetables and miso, and a dessert utilizing citrus peel preserves. Additionally, the hotel is serving an original cocktail, “Second Harvest,” which incorporates upcycled ingredients like surplus red wine, coffee, and orange peel.

Alongside the culinary offerings, the hotel is hosting a bonsai exhibition through October. The display includes a rare, approximately 200-year-old Itoigawa Shinpaku bonsai, intended to represent the connection between Japanese culture and sustainable values.
