Pulp enters hiatus following successful four-year tour cycle
Jarvis Cocker has clarified the future of the Britpop band Pulp following the conclusion of a four-year concert cycle, which ended with a performance at the End of the Road festival. While the band is entering a period of rest, Cocker stated that the end of the tour does not signify the end of the group. He noted that while there are currently no touring plans, the band might reconvene toward the end of the year to rehearse and potentially write new material.
Pulp’s recent resurgence has been marked by the release of their album ‘More’ in 2025, which reached number one on the British charts—their first top spot in 27 years. The band’s recent activities also include the release of ‘Pulp: What Do You Do For an Encore?’, a film documenting their 2025 performance at London’s O2 Arena. The live recording highlights a repertoire that blends classic hits like ‘Common People’ with new tracks from ‘More’.
