Pulsano councilor demands safety checks for Polso Sano event

Angelo Di Lena, a city councilor in Pulsano, has filed a new formal request seeking clarification regarding the management of the ‘Corteo Storico Polso Sano’ event. The request, addressed to the Local Police and relevant sector managers, follows a lack of response to a previous inquiry sent on August 19.

Di Lena is calling for rigorous preventive checks on various aspects of the event, including authorizations, the safety of food and beverage stands, electrical cables, and the use of LPG cylinders. He emphasized the need for systematic inspections of cooking areas and auxiliary engines to prevent accidents.

Additionally, the councilor raised concerns regarding hygiene and accessibility. He specifically noted the presence of organic waste and pests near the event route, particularly on Via Costantinopoli, and requested information on the timing and methods of street cleaning and sanitation interventions.
