Pulsano majority withdraws limits on council motions

The majority in the Pulsano municipal council has withdrawn a proposed amendment to the council regulations. The measure, specifically targeting Article 18, paragraph 6, would have imposed limits on the number of questions and motions that council groups could present.

The decision follows objections raised by councilor Angelo Di Lena, who questioned the legitimacy of the proposed changes. Di Lena described the withdrawal as an ‘act of responsibility’ and a positive sign for democratic dialogue within the community.

The issue has been removed from the current agenda and is expected to be discussed again in the near future to find a solution that balances administrative needs with the rights of council members.
