Pulsano Man Arrested for Domestic Violence and Illegal Weapons

In the southern Italian town of Pulsano, Carabinieri intervened after a midnight call for help from a daughter. A 47‑year‑old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse, threatening his wife with a knife, and damaging the family car during a violent dispute.

During a subsequent search, authorities seized a switchblade, a dagger, an unmarked revolver that had been altered to fire live ammunition, and two boxes of .22‑calibre cartridges. The suspect was transferred to a detention facility in Taranto while the seized weapons are examined by forensic experts. The criminal investigation remains in its preliminary phase.
