Pulse nightclub fire victims' parents protest in Kocani

Parents and relatives of those killed in the fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kocani organized a march, the 46th in a series, carrying transparent signs that read “The corrupt state stole our children” and “We, the parents, paid the tax of corruption.” They pledged to continue the demonstrations until justice is served.

The protesters criticised the court proceedings, saying attention was being diverted from the core issues. They called for the removal of public prosecutor Natasha Sarandova, alleging bias and the exclusion of crucial evidence, a request that must be decided by state prosecutor Nеnad Savесki. Alexander Naunov, father of victim Nadica Naunova, said the family will “fight to the last moment for the truth.”
