Puma Energy Tanzania pays 15 billion TSh dividend to government

Tanzania's Minister of Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar, has commended Puma Energy Tanzania for its increased investment and operational improvements. These efforts have resulted in the company paying a dividend of 15 billion Tanzanian shillings to the government.

During a meeting in Dodoma with Puma Energy Tanzania's Managing Director, Fatma Abdallah, Minister Omar noted that the dividend payment is a sign of the company's profitability and its growing contribution to national development. He emphasized that the government is taking steps to ensure the energy sector remains stable and competitive to protect citizens from global energy price fluctuations.

Fatma Abdallah expressed appreciation for the government's efforts to stabilize the energy sector and noted that government actions have contributed to lowering fuel costs, benefiting the overall economy.
