Pumas UNAM players receive four national team call-ups

Pumas UNAM will have four players called up to their respective national teams during the first FIFA international window following the 2026 World Cup. The players involved are Pedro Vite, Adalberto Carrasquilla, Álvaro Angulo, and Robert Morales.

Pedro Vite will rejoin the Ecuador national team for matches against South Korea, Japan, and either New Zealand or Panama. Adalberto Carrasquilla has been selected by Panama to play against India, New Zealand, and either Japan or Ecuador.

Álvaro Angulo returns to the Colombian national team for friendly matches against Mexico, Paraguay, and Peru. Robert Morales has been called up to represent Paraguay. Following the ninth round of the Liga MX Apertura 2026 tournament, the players will depart to fulfill these international commitments. Notably, Pumas will have no representation in the Mexican national team during this period.
