Monterrey takes Liga MX lead with 6-1 victory over FC Juárez

In a standout performance, Monterrey secured the top spot in the general table after a dominant 6-1 victory over FC Juárez at the Estadio BBVA. Goals for Monterrey were scored by Luca Orellano, Diego Rossi, Hugo Cuypers, Lucas Ocampos, and Orbelín Pineda. Diego Rossi led the offensive effort with one goal and two assists. FC Juárez's lone goal was scored by Óscar Estupiñán.

Mexican representatives Monterrey, León, América, and Toluca will face MLS clubs in matches held in the United States between August 25 and 26. Due to tournament regulations, América and Toluca will play at neutral venues in California and New Jersey, respectively.
