Pump.fun expands ecosystem with new bridge and celebrity partnership

Meme coin launchpad Pump.fun has implemented several strategic updates to its platform, including the introduction of Pump Bridge as its default cross-chain trading route. Replacing Relay, the new bridge reportedly delivers buys twice as fast with 92% fewer errors, according to platform claims. On-chain metrics indicate rising network participation, with active addresses spiking to 89,000 in a 24-hour period and total holders reaching 462,000.

In a move to attract retail users, the platform has also signed Solana trader Kimchi as a creative partner. The partnership coincides with the launch of Rolex prize packs within the app. Kimchi, a pseudonymous trader known for high-profile gains, is intended to help guide the platform’s creative direction as it seeks to bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and mainstream pop culture.
