Pump.fun integrates Hyperliquid for perpetual futures trading
Pump.fun has expanded its services beyond Solana-based meme coin launches by introducing perpetual futures trading powered by Hyperliquid. The new feature allows users to trade leveraged contracts for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as real-world assets including oil and S&P 500 stocks with up to 50x leverage.
Under the new structure, Pump.fun provides the software interface while Hyperliquid manages trading operations, including order matching, margin balances, funding payments, and liquidations. Pump.fun does not act as a counterparty to the contracts.
The platform has established a fee schedule that includes a builder fee of up to 0.10% of an order’s notional value for opening, adding to, or closing positions. Additionally, an in-app bridge fee for transferring assets to or from Hyperliquid can reach 0.25%.
Access to the perpetual futures feature is restricted. Residents of the United States, its territories, and Ontario, Canada, are barred from using the service. Entities incorporated or organized in these jurisdictions are also excluded.
