Punch Pubs reports revenue growth to £377.8m

Punch Pubs & Co has announced its full-year results for the 52 weeks ending August 9, 2026, reporting an 11.8% increase in revenue to £377.8 million. The company attributed this growth to a disciplined acquisition strategy, which saw the purchase of 74 pubs during the year, including 30 sites from the Hertfordshire-based McMullen’s group.

Underlying EBITDA rose by 8.1% to £106.4 million. The company’s estate now totals 1,327 pubs. CEO Andy Spencer noted that despite economic pressures within the hospitality sector, the firm is entering the new financial year with confidence, citing a robust pipeline of further acquisitions and strong recent trading performance.

Key drivers for the profit growth included like-for-like performance across leased and tenanted models, the delivery of an investment strategy, and a £5.1 million cost optimisation programme. Property assets increased by 10.3% to £1,115.8 million, with 93% of the portfolio held on freehold or long leasehold.
