Pune dam release and Himachal landslides amid heavy rains in India

Heavy monsoon rains in western and northern India prompted authorities to increase water discharge from Pune's Dimbhe Dam. Additional debris and flooding affected roads around Manali, prompting local authorities to advise against non‑essential travel.
