Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, has expressed gratitude to the citizens of Pune and Ganesh Mandal workers following the peaceful conclusion of the city’s 134-year-old Ganesh Utsav. He noted that the festival is a globally recognized symbol of Pune’s culture and identity, attracting devotees from both India and abroad.
Mohol highlighted that the Maharashtra government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has officially granted the Pune Ganesh Utsav the status of a state festival.
