Punjab Agricultural University announces 2026 job recruitments

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has announced recruitment for two contractual positions for 2026.

A Young Professional-I vacancy is available for candidates with a B.Sc. or B.Tech. in relevant biological, agricultural, biotechnology, food technology, horticulture, or forestry disciplines. Applicants must have a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.00/10 CGPA and Punjabi language proficiency up to the Matric level. The monthly salary is Rs. 30,000, and the application deadline is 26 August 2026, with a walk-in date scheduled for 01 September 2026.

Additionally, the university is recruiting one Teaching Assistant specializing in Soil Science. Eligible candidates require a B.Sc. or B.Tech. in relevant plant sciences and an M.Sc. in Soil Science or an equivalent degree. Applicants must have at least 60% marks at the Bachelor's level and 65% or a 6.50/10 CGPA at the Master's level, along with a Matric level Punjabi language certificate.
