Punjab and Haryana Police Arrest Two Wanted Gangsters in Angola

Punjab Police, Haryana Police and central Indian agencies carried out a joint operation in the African nation of Angola, arresting two high‑profile criminals. The suspects were identified as Varinder alias Joban Saidak, who had a bounty of 5 lakh rupees for his involvement in four sensational murders in Punjab, and Manjot, wanted for multiple offences in Haryana. Both were known members of the Gopi Ghanashamuriya and Doni Bal gangs.

Following the arrests, the extradition process to India has been initiated, highlighting expanding international cooperation against organized crime and signalling that fugitives can no longer evade Indian law by fleeing abroad.
