Punjab businessman Rakesh Trehan announces iPhone giveaway

Amritsar-based businessman and social media influencer Rakesh Trehan, known as ‘Raja D King’, has announced an ‘iPhone Langar’ to distribute free Apple smartphones. The giveaway is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, and will be conducted live before the media and the public.

The initiative focuses on iPhone 17 models and newer versions, specifically excluding the iPhone 16. Trehan has already ordered 100 iPhone 17 units, with discussions underway to potentially distribute as many as 1,000 devices.

To participate, individuals must join a designated WhatsApp group and write the phrase ‘Jai Mata Di’. Winners will be selected from those who post the phrase and will be notified via telephone. While the initial distribution targets residents of Chandigarh and Mohali, Trehan indicated that 10 additional cities will be announced during the event as the initiative expands.
