Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann Inaugurates Two New Schools of Eminence in Ludhiana

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurated two new Schools of Eminence in Ludhiana—one at Kidwai Nagar and another at Miller Ganj—bringing the district’s total to 16. The facilities feature modern classrooms, state‑of‑the‑art laboratories and an auditorium as part of the state’s push to upgrade public education infrastructure.

Mann highlighted that Punjab has risen from 27th to the top position in school education across India, citing that 882 students from government schools qualified for the NEET exam and more than 125 cleared the JEE Main exam this year. During the visit he toured classrooms and labs, interacted with students and teachers, and received autographs and handmade portraits from pupils, while a parent presented him with a bouquet in appreciation of the government’s education initiatives.
