Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema Criticizes Congress Infighting

He warned that "the people of Punjab will not give them the chair" and contrasted the party’s internal fights with the Aam Aadmi Party’s record of delivering on its promises. Cheema also asserted that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will return to the chief minister’s post and that the AAP will retain power in the state. The criticism came during AICC in‑charge Bhupesh Baghel’s visit to Punjab, amid reports that a dispute over keeping Amrinder Singh Raja Warring as state party president has intensified factional tensions ahead of the 2027 assembly polls.
