Punjab Kings complete off-season fitness camp in Bengaluru
The Punjab Kings cricket franchise has concluded a four-day off-season conditioning camp in Bengaluru. Held from September 14 to 17 in collaboration with Stance Health, the program focused on athletic readiness, strength and conditioning, mobility drills, nutrition, and recovery protocols.
Key franchise players in attendance included Shashank Singh, Priyansh Arya, Pyla Avinash, and Vishal Nishad. The camp follows a skill-focused session held in New Chandigarh last month, as part of the team's strategy to implement year-round specialized training modules across the country.
All-rounder Shashank Singh emphasized that the Indian Premier League requires a 12-month commitment rather than just a three-month focus. He noted that the daily routine included morning mobility and gym work, afternoon conditioning, and evening recovery sessions designed to build both individual fitness and team unity.
