Punjab Minister accuses Enforcement Directorate of maligning AAP leadership

Punjab Minister Aman Arora has accused the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of attempting to malign the leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) through repeated correspondence, selective media leaks, and vague allegations. Arora stated that the central agency has failed to provide concrete evidence or usable electronic data despite requests from the Punjab Police.

According to Arora, the Punjab Police requested full documentation and electronic evidence from the ED on August 28 to support the allegations. He noted that the information provided thus far has been unclear or illegible. He further claimed that the ED's actions are intended to create chaos, intimidate political leadership, and pressure government officials to hinder the functioning of the elected Punjab government.

Regarding the Altus Project, Arora clarified that while requests for land-use changes (CLU) were made six times, not a single CLU has been approved during the current AAP government's tenure.
