Punjab Minister seeks UAE investment to boost state industrial growth

Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Aman Arora met with Abdulla Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the UAE International Investment Council (UAEIIC), in Dubai to promote industrial investment in Punjab. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM).

Arora pitched the state as an attractive destination for UAE-based investors, highlighting high-growth sectors and opportunities for public-private partnerships. He assured the council of complete administrative support, logistical facilitation, and seamless clearances for global enterprises looking to establish or expand operations in the region.

The Minister emphasized the state’s investor-centric reforms, specifically pointing to ‘Invest Punjab,’ a single-window platform designed to provide prompt statutory approvals and facilitate ease of doing business.
