Punjab Police and BSF seize 30 kg of heroin, arrest two

Punjab Police's Counter Intelligence (CI) Ferozepur, in a joint operation with the Border Security Force (BSF), intercepted a major cross-border narcotics smuggling attempt. During the operation near Satirwala village in the Fazilka district, authorities arrested two suspects, identified as Sukhwinder Singh and Manpreet Singh, both residents of Fazilka.

Officers recovered 30.2 kg of heroin and a motorcycle from the suspects. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav stated that investigations are ongoing to establish the linkages of this cross-border smuggling network and to identify individuals associated with handlers operating across the border.
