Punjab Vidhan Sabha hosts students to demonstrate legislative processes

The Punjab Vidhan Sabha opened its doors to students from Guru Gobind Singh International School, Faridkot, to provide a firsthand look at the legislative process, including how laws are enacted and budgets are passed.

During the visit, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann interacted with the students, emphasizing the importance of merit-based recruitment and honesty in pursuing professional ambitions. He highlighted government initiatives such as the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, which provides healthcare coverage of up to ₹10 lakh for eligible families. Mann encouraged the youth to view setbacks as learning opportunities, sharing his own experiences with political challenges to inspire future civil servants, doctors, and defense officers.
