Punta Alta sewage network renewal project begins

The Municipality of Coronel Rosales announced the start of a major sanitary infrastructure project in Punta Alta, replacing the city's sewer collector network. The works will replace 31 collector lines and about 4,060 meters of pipe, including household connections, manholes and splices, across more than 30 sectors. The investment exceeds 1.7 billion Argentine pesos and is financed by the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires.

Priority sectors to be addressed first include Belgrano (500, 700, 1,100, 1,200), 12 de Octubre (800), 25 de Mayo (600), Alvear (1,500, 1,800), Colón (300), Córdoba (300), Estomba (0, 100), Hipólito Yrigoyen (700, 1,800), Humberto (1,200) and Jesús María (700). The project involves pipe replacement, pavement repairs, excavation, well‑point de‑watering, installation of new PVC pipes of the same diameter, and comprehensive testing before completion.
