Punta Arenas hosts 13th International Accordionists Meeting

The Municipality of Punta Arenas has launched the 13th edition of the “Ramón Bahamonde” International Accordionists Meeting. As part of the annual Invernadas festivities, the event spans three days from August 14 to August 16, 2026.

The program begins with the Chamamé Championship in the Zona Austral venue. Subsequent activities include two public accordion galas held at the Claudio Paredes Chamorro Cultural Center on August 15 and 16. These performances are free to the public and feature various performers from Chiloé, the Metropolitan Region, and local provinces.

Mayor Claudio Radonich highlighted the consolidation of the event and invited the community to participate in the musical showcases.
