Punta Bergantín expands tourism and residential projects in Dominican Republic

The Punta Bergantín tourism and real estate development trust has launched new initiatives to expand its footprint in the northern region of the Dominican Republic. The project has introduced two new residential developments, Villas Hacienda Serena and Apartamentos Velavento, targeting investors in Santiago de los Caballeros to bolster the real estate offerings in Puerto Plata.

To support this growth, an agreement has been established between the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), the Ministry of Tourism, and the Punta Bergantín Trust. This partnership will implement a permanent research program to measure the economic, social, and territorial impacts of the development on Villa Montellano, Puerto Plata, and surrounding communities. The program aims to provide data-driven insights and strengthen human talent training to meet the needs of the emerging tourism hub.
