Punta Cana airport adds Sky High flights and honors top airlines for 2025 performance
Dominican carrier Sky High Dominican has increased its summer schedule to the Miami–Punta Cana route, planning more than 350 operations and targeting the transport of roughly 18,000 passengers. Executive vice‑president Cesarina Beauchamps said the added connectivity is intended to boost tourism, generate economic activity and strengthen commercial ties between the United States and the Dominican Republic.
The Punta Cana International Airport held its annual 2025 awards ceremony, recognizing airlines and service providers for safety, on‑time performance and passenger experience. Honorees included Gol, World2Fly, Discover, Air Europa, Condor, Frontier, Avianca, Delta and others, as well as ground handlers such as JetBlue, Envoy and Servair.
