Punta Cana International Baseball Tournament crowns champions across age groups

The International Baseball Tournament in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, organized by José Dijols Muñoz and sponsored by Banreservas, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Sports and other local partners, featured 60 teams from 10 countries. The event honored Venezuelan Hall of Famer Omar Vizquel and culminated with finals on Friday, 24 July at the RD Complex.

Champions were named in each age division: Indians de Bayamón (Puerto Rico) won the 5‑6‑year category, Jaguares de Panamá secured the 7‑8‑year title, Team RD (Venezuela) captured both the 9‑10 and 11‑12 categories, Liga Babe Ruth took the 13‑14 division, Guapos de Kuilán (Puerto Rico) triumphed in the 15‑16 bracket, and Chamos Program (Venezuela) won the +17 division. The award ceremony was held at the Coco Bongo Show & Disco venue, with Omar Vizquel and José Dijols presenting the trophies.
