Punta del Caimán announces 2026 religious festival program

The Hermandad Sacramental de Nuestra Señora del Mar and the El Caimán Neighborhood Association have announced the 2026 programming for the Fiestas en Honor a Nuestra Señora del Mar. The celebrations, which are deeply rooted in the local community, will take place in the Punta del Caimán neighborhood, with the main festivities scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026.

The program includes a variety of religious, cultural, sporting, gastronomic, and recreational activities. Previous events leading up to the main celebration have already included the presentation of the festival poster by artist Enrique López Nieves, the Velada de Nuestra Señora del Mar, and traditional rose offerings. This year's festivities are particularly significant as they coincide with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the El Caimán Neighborhood Association.
