Municipalities prepare cemeteries for All Saints' Day and Day of the Dead

Various municipalities across Spain, Mexico, and Bolivia are implementing special measures to prepare cemeteries for the upcoming All Saints' Day and Day of the Dead commemorations.

In Spain, cities such as Castellón, Punta Umbría, Elda, and Sant Feliu de Llobregat are extending cemetery opening hours, increasing cleaning services, and organizing religious or cultural events. In Castellón, there is a rising demand for professional niche cleaning services as elderly residents seek assistance with traditional rituals.

In Mexico, authorities in Fresnillo are authorizing spaces for hundreds of merchants in local cemeteries to facilitate commerce during the festivities. In Ciudad Juárez, municipal crews are conducting maintenance and vegetation removal at the Chaveña Municipal Cemetery to ensure the site is ready for visitors.

In Bolivia, the municipality of Montero has announced temporary cemetery closures from October 29 to 31 to allow for intensive cleaning and maintenance work before the holiday period.
