Puntacana Resort announces Culinary Weekend and hosts Golf View 2026

Puntacana Resort has announced the fifth edition of its Culinary Weekend, scheduled for November 20 and 21, 2026, at the Tortuga Bay Puntacana boutique hotel. The event will feature Brazilian chef Tássia Magalhães and her São Paulo-based restaurant, Nelita. Magalhães, recognized as Latin America’s Best Female Chef in 2025, will present a gastronomic experience inspired by Italian cuisine reinterpreted with Brazilian ingredients.

In a separate event in the region, the twelfth edition of Golf View 2026 brought together 244 national and international players at the Corales golf course in Punta Cana. The tournament integrated sports with gastronomy, featuring six Latin American chefs, including Inés Páez Nin and Francis Peña from the Dominican Republic. The event aimed to promote the Dominican Republic as a destination for sports tourism and provided a networking platform for business executives and sponsors.
