Puppet and theater festivals draw audiences across Spain

Several puppet and theater festivals are taking place across Spain this summer. In Aguinaliu, Huesca, the fifth edition of the ‘Títeres en la Montaña’ festival is being hosted by Trapusteros Teatro at La Borda del Títere. The festival, which runs from August 1 to September 13, includes free performances on weekends in various towns including Graus, La Puebla de Castro, Coscojuela de Fantova, Olvena, and Camporrells.

Meanwhile, the 15th International Theater and Puppet Festival of Torralba de Calatrava has concluded with a successful turnout, recording 2,561 tickets sold. The event featured 13 companies and included a tribute to Narea Producciones and the presentation of the 2026 Patio de Comedias Award to actor Imanol Arias.
