Purani Dilli 6 defeats North Delhi Strikers in DPL 2026

Purani Dilli 6 defeated the North Delhi Strikers by 20 runs in a Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 match held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Batting first, Purani Dilli 6 posted a total of 211/6 in their 20 overs.

Aryan Gaur led the scoring with 75 runs from 42 balls, supported by a 109-run partnership for the second wicket with Dev Lakra, who contributed 66 runs from 40 balls. Samarth Seth also provided a quick start with 25 runs off 13 balls.

In response, the North Delhi Strikers reached 191/4 in their 20 overs. Captain Sarthak Ranjan anchored the chase with 78 runs from 51 balls, and Yash Dabas added 37 runs. Despite the efforts, the Strikers were unable to overcome the target, as Purani Dilli 6 maintained control during the final overs through disciplined bowling from Rajneesh Dadar and Ajay Ahlawat.
