Purbaya and Teddy top performance survey for Prabowo's cabinet

A survey by Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) conducted between July 27 and August 3, 2026, reveals public perceptions of performance within President Prabowo Subianto's Merah Putih Cabinet.

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa ranked first in both performance and popularity, with 42.8% of respondents considering him the best-performing minister and 43.5% recognizing his name. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya followed in second place for performance (33.5%) and popularity (41.0%). Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia ranked third in performance with 32.0%.

Other notable positive rankings included Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman (30.9%), Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan (26.5%), and Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (25.3%). Conversely, the survey identified Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai (51.8%) and Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo (48.5%) as having the poorest perceived performance.
