PURC Bono Regional Office ranked among best public institutions

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) Bono Regional Office has been recognized as one of the best-performing public institutions in the Bono and Ahafo regions. A media assessment of public perception revealed that approximately 85% of surveyed residents rated the office highly, praising its professionalism, impartiality, and accessibility.

Between 2019 and 2026, the Commission achieved a 99.20% complaint-resolution rate, successfully resolving 7,798 out of 7,861 received complaints. The regulator serves as a critical mechanism for citizens to challenge electricity and water bill disputes and seek redress against utility providers independently.
